Desert Treasure Slot Machine

desert treasure slot gameThe Best Casinos For the Desert Treasure Slot.

Desert Treasure might look a bit retro compared to newer games like the King of Olympus slot (and that’s because it is!), but we happen to have had quite a run of luck on this game. Now that doesn’t mean you will too, but that’s why it’s on our favourite slots list! Anyway, we quite like a traditional game (the Avalon slot is another favourite).

It’s pretty low variance (you won’t need such a big bankroll to get through dry periods)- so if we happen to want a smoother ride, we often turn to this game.

This is hardly a graphics fest, but then again- it’s a great simple game done very well. We don’t want super whizzy graphics every time we play, sometimes we like giving the old classics a go, and Desert Treasure is certainly one of those.

The Desert Treasure Slot- Under The Bonnet

Desert Treasure might look “Old Skool”, but it has plenty of features and remains popular. It’s one of those classic slot games that has stood the test of time.
It’s a 20 pay-line, 5 reel bonus slot. This is a pretty low volatility game (you should see more frequent smaller wins which is good for smaller bankrolls). The RTP is over 97% which is pretty good for a slot.

The Cobra symbol is wild and will net you 10,000x your line bet if you land 5 of them on an activated pay line- you can kind of see what we like this game! And the Arabian Princess symbol is the scatter. You need 3 or more of these to get 10 free spins. 3 lands you 5x your total bet.

If you see 5 on your screen, that’s 500x your total bet which will be added to the wins.
What’s more, all wins except the bonus are tripled during free spins, AND you can retrigger free spins from within the bonus (that’s one of our favourite features of a slot by the way, we love re-triggering free spins).

There’s also a Map symbol. If you land 3 to 5 on any activated pay-line, you head into the “Click Me” bonus round. This will then take you to an oasis of pots – it’s a “pick the prize” game for wins.

This game is available as a desktop and mobile slot. Playtech released an new version of Desert Treasure in 2011 (that just goes to show how classic the original on is!)- and it’s called Desert Treasure 2 (unsurprisingly). This is a pretty good game too- the free spin feature bets you 15 spins at 2x. The graphics have been updated and the game is more volatile. We like playing both- although we probably play the original more.
