Taco Brothers Slot
Capitan Diaz Has Stolen The Tacos!
The action in the Taco brothers slot starts off in the happy village of Santa Maria in Mexico. All the villagers are going about their business, when suddenly Captain Diaz arrives and takes away all the tacos! Nightmare.
Your job, should you choose to accept it, is to get those tacos back from the dastardly Capitan Diaz by making as much money as you can on the Taco Brothers slot!
Sounds completely crazy? That’s because it is! It’s an ELK Studios- the people behind the Hong Kong Tower slot, and we love it. You can win up to 150,000 coins on this beauty.
How to Play the Taco Brothers Slot
Let’s dive in and take a look at this great looking slot shall we?- you can play it over at Royal Panda slots or just play the free demo here and pick a casino later.
With a dusty looking Mexican background and super smooth reels that look just as good on a mobile as they do on a PC, the Taco Brothers slot looks the business.
It’s a 5 reel, 3 row 343 Ways to Win slot (a format we more associate with Microgaming slots, but there you go).
243 Ways to Win means that you can land combinations on any adjacent reel going left to right. As long as they are next door to each other, you don’t need to worry about pay-lines or anything.
There are 3 Taco Brothers- Paso with the big fat Montecristo cigar who’s got some serious Roger Moore eyebrow moves, Pepe with the guitar and the smooth haircut who looks like the Ladies’ Man and the amiable Pico who loves to blow up safes with dynamite.
The other symbols are the guitar (Mariachi band anyone?), cacti, tequila and a spade for hiding all of that treasure that you are hopefully going to find.
We love the way the symbols spin around when you line up a win- it’s pure ELK Studio magic.
Try some of their other games like the Electric Sam slot machine or Wild Toro if you like this game!
There are Two Wild Symbols!
There are 12 bet levels (each one is 100 coins).
The Taco Brothers symbol is a Re-Spin Scatter and Wild. Get 2 of these and you set off a re-spin with a shot from someone’s revolver on any reel that doesn’t have a Safe or Taco Brothers symbol.
The Taco Brothers symbol is wild by the way (it stands in for everything apart from the Safe symbol). So you get a second chance of bagging 3 safes which will get you some free spins (see below).
There is also a Bell symbol that is wild. Again, this stands in for everything apart from the Safe and the Taco Brothers Wild.
Taco Brothers Free Spins with Safes
The reason that the wilds don’t stand in for the Safes, is because they are the scatters that set off the free spins (you will need at least three).
Wins are multiplied by 1, 2 or 3 depending on the multiplier that you got when the safe exploded. In the free spins round, you’ll see some new symbols- the Senorita and that Taco thief Captain Diaz.
This round is called the Wild Escape Round. The bothers show up on reel 5 setting off Running Wilds which can get quite exciting.
You will continue in free spins until all of the Taco Brothers make a run for it or have been slammed in jail by the evil Captain Diaz.
The lovely Senorita is a Push Back symbol and helps the Taco Boys reach more treasure- which means more wins for you. She pushes them to the right. Gracias guapa!
This is a visual feast and is great fun to play. When the free spins round gets going, you’ll start to really enjoy it. Fantastic.
