Immortal Romance is a vampire-themed slot that sits in Microgaming’s 243 Ways to Win range (we’re in the same zone here as TV vampire shows like True Blood, Buffy and Vampire Diaries).
The 243 Ways to Win slots are Microgaming’s “Rolls Royce” games (another example is the excellent Thunderstruck 2 Slot Machine): in place of pay-lines, you bet and try to line up matching symbols on adjacent reels going from left to right with 243 ways to win (instead of just straight line wins, there are 243 combinations).

This game is similar to Thunderstruck II in many ways (it has the same game engine). And given that Thunderstruck II is still one of our favourite games (after all those years), I guess it is no surprise why we also enjoy playing this game. This vampire version is more volatile though.

Wild Desire feature: similar to Thunderstruck’s II ‘Wildstorm’ feature. It appears at random.
The game pauses, and the reels start spinning automatically. Then scattered wilds cover the reels, (from one reel, up to five).
We’ve had some great Wild Desire runs, we just wish this feature would trigger every other spin.
Chamber of Spins
The Chamber of Spins bonuses: If you hit three scatters in the normal game mode (the lion door-knockers that drop in with a resounding “thud”), you will head off to the ‘Chamber of Spins’ where you can pick one of the four bonus.
